Immersion Spanish Language School in Cuernavaca, MexicoStudy Spanish in Mexico!!! ENCUENTROS is a Spanish school in Cuernavaca that offers an interesting spectrum of language experiences for foreigners. Our Spanish immersion program is designed to get our students speaking and living the Spanish language in a variety of immersion contexts here in Cuernavaca, Mexico. Our focus is "communicative": we feel that the only way to master the Spanish language is to use it! We introduce our participants to real life Spanish language immersion situations around the city of Cuernavaca as well as in the classroom.An exciting aspect of the weekly schedule of Spanish language classes are unique, biweekly visits to places in Cuernavaca for on-site Spanish vocabulary building and conversational practice with Cuernavaca residents. The immersion visits are linked to the “Semana Cultural”, a theme chosen by the school for each week. During the week called “La Comida Mexicana”, for example, you might visit the bakers in Cuernavaca bakery on Monday, and on Thursday visit the local Cuernavaca market to speak Spanish with the vendors and learn the Spanish vocabulary for food. For the week called “Mexico y sus Artistas” you might visit the home of a local Mexican painter on Monday, and follow up with an outing to the home and workshop of Siqueiros, a famous Mexican muralist who resided in Cuernavaca. In the ENCUENTROS total immersion Spanish program you will learn Spanish with all your senses! |
