ENCUENTROS is  a Spanish school in Cuernavaca that offers a total immersion experience to students.  Speaking Spanish is the key to mastering, and at ENCUENTROS the Spanish language program is designed to offer an exciting array of opportunities to use the language in authentic situations.  Half the morning program is geared towards teaching our students the structure of the Spanish language and the other half is aimed at allowing them to practice what they have learned.  Afternoon activities such as Mexican cooking, Mexican movies, and language exchanges with local residents offer our students more time to use and perfect their Spanish! 
 

Mexico Home Stay

One of the most important components of our Spanish immersion program is the Mexican homestay , which affords our students the chance to  practice the Spanish language learned in class as well as gain valuable insights into Mexican lifestyles and culture. 

When you enroll we will ask you about your preferences and, based on your answers to our questions, will send three family descriptions for you to choose from. We will email you the name, phone and address of your selection and someone from the homestay will get you at the bus station in Cuernavaca where the airport shuttle arrives here.  With the family, you will experience first hand the language, the food, and the culture of Mexico, making your stay in our country more significant and your acquisition of the language much more real.   This is total immersion!
